Description

You will lead technology risk remediation initiatives focused on cybersecurity vulnerabilities across wealth technology platforms and systems.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the framework of risk remediation by implementing solutions to reduce open vulnerabilities related to cybersecurity, VTM, third party software, databases, and component vulnerabilities.
• Develop automation solutions for cybersecurity risk management to improve efficiency, standardization, and maintain risk metrics within acceptable appetite levels.
• Collaborate with CTI, IS, IT Teams, and Risk Control teams to create integrated risk mitigation execution approaches for application frameworks, operating systems, middleware, messaging, virtualization, and databases.
• Provide regular risk reporting to senior management ensuring transparency and accountability in securing applications.
• Manage operational tasks including risk identification and remediation while providing skilled mentorship to internal teams.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of relevant experience in the Financial Services industry, including Application Development Manager and senior level Applications Development roles.
• Expertise in Java, Python, Oracle, MS SQL, MongoDB, Cybersecurity, Risk Management, DevOps, and Cloud Infrastructure.
• Proven project management, stakeholder management, and people management experience.
• Demonstrated leadership skills with excellent communication abilities.
• Experience monitoring and controlling development processes: analysis, design, construction, testing, and implementation.
• Familiarity with application systems analysis and programming activities, including feasibility studies and cost estimates.
