Lead engineering teams through the full application lifecycle to deliver scalable software and services.

Supervise existing engineering teams and build new ones to execute project strategies.

Responsibilities

• Develop and debug applications using Javascript, Ruby, or Python within React, Ruby on Rails, or NestJS frameworks.
• Mentor junior team members on codebase standards, existing projects, and engineering processes.
• Collaborate with designers, system administrators, and operations teams to ship final products.
• Provide clear technical instructions and documentation to engineering teams using Agile, Git, and Jira.

Required Skills

• 6+ years of industry experience designing, developing, and shipping scalable software.
• Proficiency in Javascript, Ruby, or Python using React, Ruby on Rails, NestJS, or Django.
• Strong grasp of data structures, algorithms, and runtime/space complexity.
• Experience with API design, UI component design, and both relational and non-relational databases.
• Deep understanding of clean code principles, including SoC, Single Responsibility, and Unit testing.
• Advanced English proficiency for technical documentation, presentations, and cross-team communication.
• Experience with Git-based CI/CD, Docker, or Kubernetes.
• Knowledge of web performance techniques including caching, lazy loading, and server-side rendering.

Preferred Skills

• BS/MS in Computer Science or a related Engineering degree.
