Lead software engineering for a critical platform, driving its migration from AWS to GCP.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Guide the migration of .NET and SQL-based components from AWS to GCP.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to onshore senior engineers and offshore resources.
• Drive architectural decision-making for product features, refactoring, and end-of-life decisions.
• Lead agile ceremonies including sprint planning and retrospectives.
• Maintain QE, DevSec, and FinOps KPIs while ensuring compliance with secure software development guidelines.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of software engineering experience in an enterprise environment.
• Strong hands-on expertise in .NET and microservices.
• Deep proficiency in the SQL stack, including T-SQL, stored procedures, and triggers.
• 3+ years of experience with cloud technologies including GCP, AWS, or Azure.
• Proven experience designing and developing cloud-native solutions.
• Extensive experience working in agile environments.
• Ability to dive deep into .NET and SQL code to solve complex issues.
• Valid and unrestricted working rights in Australia.

Preferred Skills

• Experience migrating complex business and engineering environments to new cloud platforms.
• Experience with Angular or similar modern frontend frameworks.
