Description

You will lead a data and software engineering team, partnering with product management to shape, design, and deliver technology solutions. You will balance hands-on technical contribution with team leadership, guiding initiatives from concept through deployment.

This role is hybrid.

Responsibilities

• Partner with Product Management to plan releases and address technical, performance, and security needs.
• Lead and oversee the team’s engineering processes, delivery, and operational procedures.
• Assign, coordinate, and manage team priorities, workload, and scope definition.
• Communicate clearly with stakeholders on roadmaps, timelines, risks, and progress.
• Define technical approaches and ensure strong system architecture, reliability, and monitoring practices.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of work experience in technical leadership.
• 5+ years of experience in technical leadership with large-scale, growing systems.
• 5+ years of experience examining and re-engineering operations and procedures.
• 5+ years of experience formulating goals and developing/implementing new strategies.
• 5+ years of experience in preparation of reports, briefings, and technical documents.
• Proficiency in Python, Django, PySpark, ETL, and SQL.
• Experience collaborating with engineering leadership to integrate, deploy, and operate services.

Preferred Skills

• Experience advocating for the team by securing resources and supporting engineer success.
• Background in fostering a collaborative, high-performing engineering culture.
