Description

Lead a cross-functional engineering team in Dallas, Texas, overseeing the end-to-end software development lifecycle for scalable applications.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Drive design, development, and delivery of scalable applications using Java and React.
• Oversee architecture, coding, testing, and deployment while ensuring code quality, performance, and security.
• Mentor engineers, conduct code reviews, and support career growth within the team.
• Collaborate with product managers and stakeholders to define technical roadmaps and improve team productivity.
• Implement automation-first QA practices and utilize SQL and Python for data analytics and backend processing.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of software engineering experience.
• 3+ years in an Engineering Manager or Tech Lead role.
• Strong hands-on experience with Java (Spring Boot) and React / JavaScript.
• Experience leading full-stack development teams with a solid understanding of system design, microservices, and APIs.
• Proficiency in SQL and/or Python for analytics and integrations.
• Strong problem-solving, decision-making, and stakeholder management skills.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience (Any Graduate).

Preferred Skills

• Experience with QA automation frameworks, specifically Playwright with TypeScript.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and modern DevOps practices.
