Lead a team of software engineers while remaining hands-on with technical implementation and system design.

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor a team of engineers, managing career development and performance evaluations.
• Own the full software development lifecycle, including system design, coding, testing, and deployment.
• Drive technical decisions and ensure adherence to coding standards and best practices.
• Collaborate with product managers and stakeholders to define project scope and technical feasibility.
• Manage project timelines, resource allocation, and deliverables to ensure successful execution.

Required Skills

• 8+ years of experience in software development.
• Proven experience as an Engineering Manager or Technical Lead.
• Proficiency in Java or Go.
• Strong hands-on experience with React.
• Experience with AWS and cloud-native architectures.
• Solid understanding of system design, scalability, and performance optimization.
• Experience with microservices, event-driven systems, and Kafka.
• Proficiency with PostgreSQL and MongoDB, including data modeling.
• Experience implementing caching techniques using Redis or Memcached.
• Ability to collaborate with UX/UI, QA, and data engineering teams.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with APM tools like Signoz or NewRelic for observability and traces.
• Familiarity with rapid development techniques and low-code approaches.
