Description

Lead multiple development teams to own product delivery from ideation through release.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Manage cross-functional teams including Frontend, Backend, QA, DevOps, Scrum Masters, and Tech Leads.
• Oversee the full software development lifecycle, ensuring adherence to Scrum methodology and security regulations.
• Coordinate with external partners, insurers, and cross-functional stakeholders for new integrations.
• Monitor application reliability and performance while optimizing engineer utilization against budgets.
• Design development strategies aligned with company objectives and manage engineering hiring and training.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of experience, preferably within InsurTech, FinTech, or product-based companies.
• Hands-on experience with Python, Django, Docker, PostgreSQL, and MySQL.
• Deep understanding of AWS technologies including EC2, RDS, SQS, ElasticSearch, and ELB.
• Strong proficiency in Angular or React.
• Experience building transactional applications using Service Based Architectures.
• Solid understanding of REST conventions, caching, and SQL optimization techniques.
• Product mindset with experience developing SaaS-based solutions.

Preferred Skills

• B.Tech or BE degree.
