Description

Lead sprint planning, delivery execution, and retrospectives while contributing directly to architecture, coding, and production deployments.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Drive modernization initiatives across backend, frontend, APIs, and database layers.
• Mentor and grow engineering talent, providing direct feedback and hiring support.
• Implement AI-assisted development workflows and define engineering standards.
• Monitor team health, velocity, and code quality benchmarks.
• Document architectural decisions, RFCs, and process improvements.

Required Skills

• 10+ years in software engineering, including 2+ years in a lead or manager role.
• Hands-on experience with C#, .NET, Go, Python, or Java.
• Proficiency in React or modern frontend frameworks.
• Strong background in REST APIs, microservices, and MS SQL Server or PostgreSQL.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and automated testing.
• Hands-on delivery of production code using AI tools (Copilot, Claude Code, or Cursor).
• Ability to coach teams on AI-driven SDLC practices, including agentic coding and prompt engineering.
• Full-stack orientation with end-to-end ownership from scoping through release.

Preferred Skills

• Experience managing distributed or nearshore teams across US, Mexico, LATAM, or Asia.
• Background in e-commerce, retail tech, or high-scale consumer platforms.
• Exposure to MLOps or model deployment pipelines.
