Description

Lead a technical team delivering networking software features, enhancements, and bug fixes. Guide the team through feature development, prototyping, and validation in an agile environment. Collaborate with product and architecture teams on roadmaps, technology selection, and feature prioritization. Partner with Test and Support teams to ensure software release quality and customer satisfaction. Provide technical mentorship, participate in design reviews, and contribute directly to code as needed. Manage team performance, coaching, and career planning while implementing continuous process improvements.

Responsibilities

Required Skills

• 12+ years of experience in data networking, routing protocols, or data forwarding technologies.
• 7+ years of professional software development experience.
• 1+ years of experience managing a technical team.
• Proficiency in C programming and standard software development methodologies.
• BS or MS degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Strong technical presentation and leadership skills.
• Ability to work across different time zones.
• Experience managing shifting priorities and changing requirements.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with OpenFlow, SDN, or network offload.
• Background in Linux kernel networking, system software, or data forwarding.
• Knowledge of data center environments, cloud native concepts, or open-source project contribution.
