Lead a team of 5+ engineers focused on the quality and delivery of networking software features.

Manage a team of 5+ engineers, providing technical guidance and career development planning. Analyze customer-reported defects to identify test gaps and implement regression coverage. Build and maintain automation frameworks for continuous functional regression. Perform functional testing on Layer 2 and Layer 3 features for Ethernet Switch systems running Cumulus Linux. Collaborate with design and internal engineering groups to resolve identified issues.

Responsibilities

• Manage and mentor a team of 5+ engineers, driving technical guidance and career development.
• Analyze customer-reported defects to identify test gaps and implement comprehensive regression coverage.
• Build and maintain automation frameworks for continuous functional regression testing.
• Perform functional testing on Layer 2 and Layer 3 features for Ethernet Switch systems running Cumulus Linux.
• Collaborate with design and internal engineering groups to resolve identified issues across different time zones.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of experience in Software Quality Engineering.
• 2+ years of experience managing a team of 5 or more engineers.
• Hands-on experience with Layer 2 and Layer 3 protocols including MLAG, VLAN, STP, OSPF, BGP, and EVPN.
• Proficiency in Python or other scripting languages.
• Experience with Unix or Linux-based operating systems.
• Practical experience using test tools from Ixia or Spirent and various test management tools.
• Strong debugging, design, and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Skills

• BE or MTech degree.
