Description

You will lead a team of approximately 20 engineers, owning delivery for full-stack websites and mobile applications.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Lead, mentor, and grow a multidisciplinary team of frontend, backend, and API specialists.
• Drive the engineering hiring plan, including screening and interviewing candidates.
• Act as the primary point of contact for L3 support and own incident resolution.
• Collaborate with Product Managers and Architects to align technical goals with business outcomes.
• Coach engineers through code reviews and technical direction to reduce system complexity.

Required Skills

• 4+ years managing engineers, including mentoring staff and principal-level talent.
• Deep expertise in AWS Cloud (EC2, Lambda, ECS, S3, CloudWatch, IAM).
• Frontend proficiency in ReactJS, modern JavaScript (ES6+), and REST/GraphQL integration.
• Backend experience with NodeJS, Java, Express, and microservices architecture.
• Strong knowledge of API Management tools such as Apigee, Kong, or MuleSoft.
• Hands-on understanding of CI/CD, GitOps, and containerized deployments (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Experience managing production-grade systems supporting millions of calls per minute.

Preferred Skills

• BS/MS in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience.
• Proven track record delivering end-to-end digital, e-commerce, or mobile initiatives.
