Description

Lead a team of software engineers to deliver complex projects while maintaining technical excellence in Python and computer vision.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Lead the full project lifecycle from initial planning and resource allocation through to final delivery.
• Provide technical guidance to the team using expertise in Python and computer vision.
• Collaborate with product managers to define requirements, prioritize tasks, and align engineering efforts with business goals.
• Manage team performance through regular evaluations, feedback, and career development support.
• Champion software development best practices, code quality, and testing to ensure maintainable solutions.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of software engineering experience with at least 3 years in an Engineering Manager role.
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or Software Engineering.
• Deep technical knowledge of Python and computer vision tools.
• Extensive experience with backend frameworks such as Django, Flask, or Express.js.
• Proficiency in RESTful API development.
• Experience designing and optimizing databases using MySQL and MongoDB.
• Hands-on experience with cloud platforms including AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
• Practical knowledge of containerization using Docker and Kubernetes.
• Ability to operate within Agile environments and unstructured, startup-style settings.
