Description

Lead a team of 5-8 engineers building user management and platform services, owning technical direction, architectural choices, and the transition from monolithic to modern stacks.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Own technical direction, architectural choices, and tech stack decisions.
• Oversee the transition of functionality from a monolithic application to a modern tech stack.
• Drive continuous integration and deployment processes with a focus on software quality.
• Manage resource allocation, development, and product positioning.
• Lead people management through 1-1s, mentoring, coaching, and hiring.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of professional experience in engineering or technical leadership.
• Proficiency with Python, TypeScript, or Java.
• Experience with React and Hibernate.
• Hands-on knowledge of Kafka and PostgreSQL.
• Familiarity with Docker and Kubernetes.
• Experience using GitHub and GitHub Copilot.
• Strong understanding of architectural design and engineering best practices.
• Proven ability in organizational facilitation and team mentoring.

Preferred Skills

• Experience coordinating with sales, marketing, and other product lines for cross-team success.
