Description

You will lead an engineering team of 5-8 members focused on user management and platform services. You own the technical direction, architectural choices, and migration from a monolithic application to a modern tech stack.

Responsibilities

• Manage technical direction and architectural decisions for user management services.
• Oversee the migration of functionality from a monolithic application to a modern stack.
• Lead people management duties including 1-1s, mentoring, coaching, and hiring.
• Own resource allocation, development strategy, and product positioning.
• Drive CI/CD processes with a focus on software quality.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in engineering or leadership roles.
• Proficiency with Python, TypeScript, or Java.
• Experience with React for frontend development.
• Hands-on knowledge of Kafka and PostgreSQL.
• Familiarity with Hibernate.
• Experience using GitHub and GitHub Copilot.
• Practical knowledge of Docker and Kubernetes.

Preferred Skills

• Strong understanding of architectural design and engineering best practices.
• Proven ability in organizational facilitation and team mentoring.
