Description

You will lead a team of 5-8 engineers focused on user management and platform services.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Manage an engineering team through regular 1-1s, mentoring, coaching, and career support.
• Own the technical direction, including architectural choices and tech stack decisions.
• Oversee the transition of functionality from a monolithic application to a modern tech stack.
• Drive continuous integration and continuous deployment processes with a focus on software quality.
• Conduct interviews and manage the hiring process to build a high-performing team.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in engineering or technical leadership.
• Proficiency with Python, TypeScript, or Java.
• Experience with React and Hibernate.
• Hands-on experience with Kafka and PostgreSQL.
• Familiarity with Docker and Kubernetes.
• Experience using GitHub and GitHub Co-Pilot.
• Strong knowledge of product engineering and architectural design best practices.

Preferred Skills

• Experience coordinating with sales, marketing, and other product lines in cross-team meetings.
