Description

Lead a software engineering team through the full system lifecycle, from definition to execution.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Manage the engineering team, including hiring, conflict resolution, and knowledge base maintenance.
• Own the release pipeline, enforce coding standards, and manage team growth.
• Oversee project lifecycles to ensure bug-free product delivery within established timelines.
• Liaise with product management to triage defects and formulate build-and-release schedules.
• Support technical issue resolution across departments and guide team technical direction.

Required Skills

• 6–8 years of professional experience in Java development.
• Proficiency in Core Java, J2EE, JSP, Servlets, and JSON.
• Hands-on experience with JavaScript, jQuery, AJAX, and CSS.
• Strong understanding of MySQL and database frameworks.
• Experience with JUNIT for unit testing.
• Bachelor’s degree in Software Engineering.
• Enforce coding standards via manual and automated code reviews, unit testing, and configuration management.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Spring, Spring Boot, and Hibernate frameworks.
• Knowledge of Oracle databases and background in Payments, Financial, or Cards & Payments domains.
