Description

You will lead software engineering for a critical platform during its transition from AWS to GCP and Angular.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Lead a small team of onshore senior engineers and a larger offshore team.
• Own architectural decision-making for product features, refactoring, and EOSL choices.
• Manage the transition of platform capabilities to the new GCP cloud environment.
• Maintain QE, DevSec, and FinOps KPIs while ensuring secure software development compliance.
• Facilitate agile ceremonies and communicate complex technical information to stakeholders.

Required Skills

• 7+ years of software engineering experience in an enterprise environment, preferably with Java.
• 4+ years of experience with cloud technologies including GCP, AWS, or Azure.
• 4+ years of experience deploying software using Jenkins CI/CD pipelines.
• Experience designing and developing cloud-native solutions.
• Practical knowledge of Terraform, Helm Charts, and infrastructure-as-code concepts.
• Experience managing, supporting, and mentoring senior engineers.
• Proven ability to work within agile environments and associated tooling.

Preferred Skills

• Experience migrating complex business and engineering environments to new cloud platforms.
• Ability to navigate ambiguous environments while leading platform engineering.
