Description

Engineering Technician 4 responsible for engineering design and modeling tasks using CAD and information modeling applications.

Responsibilities

• Produce 2D and 3D design work using CADD or information modeling tools.
• Interpret engineering deliverable content and apply relevant design principles and practices.
• Apply company quality program standards to all design outputs.
• Incorporate basic construction and constructability principles into engineering designs.
• Collaborate across disciplines using intermediate knowledge of related engineering fields.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of professional experience in engineering design or drafting.
• Proficiency in Autodesk Civil 3D.
• Proficiency in Autodesk AutoCAD.
• Experience with Bentley MicroStation.
• Ability to work with 2D and 3D modeling applications.
• Knowledge of engineering design principles and applicable design guides.
• Understanding of design, modeling, and information modeling workflows.

Preferred Skills

• Associate Degree in Drafting or an Engineering Design Related Technology.
• Diploma or Certificate in a related technical field.
