Description

You will support product testing and prototype development within a professional laboratory environment.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot system-level and board-level defects on PCAs and cables.
• Perform signal integrity measurements and bring-up of new PCA designs.
• Build and debug test fixtures using hand tools and small powered shop tools.
• Participate in prototype builds and collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams.
• Maintain a clean, safe lab environment and adhere to all PPE requirements.

Required Skills

• 2+ years of experience testing new products in a professional lab.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and component datasheets.
• Proficiency in hand soldering and SMT rework.
• Experience using DMMs, oscilloscopes, and other electrical test equipment.
• Experience working with low voltage DC (0-40V) and AC Mains (120-240VAC).
• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering (BSEE), Electrical Engineering Technology (BSEET), or equivalent lab technician experience.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with embedded electronics, control systems, and CAN bus.
• Experience with unit testing.
