Description

You will support the development of electronic hardware for automotive applications through rapid prototyping and low-volume hardware assembly.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Assemble and test electronic hardware from engineering prototypes to short-run production.
• Assist engineers in developing manufacturing processes and alternative assembly techniques to resolve design issues.
• Perform final product testing in strict accordance with written procedures.
• Act as a Quality Delegate by inspecting work performed by other technicians.

Required Skills

• AS degree with 1 year of electro-mechanical assembly experience, or 3 years of experience.
• Proficiency with standard assembly tools: cutters, crimpers, soldering irons, pin insertion/removal tools, and torque tools.
• Hands-on lab experience using power supplies, signal generators, and oscilloscopes.
• Ability to read and interpret technical documents and drawings.
• Experience working with product development teams in a low-volume manufacturing setting.
• Competency in Google Suite (Docs, Sheets, Slides) and data entry.
• Strong verbal and written English communication skills.

Preferred Skills

• Technical training such as soldering, trade school, or OJT classes.
• IPC-610, IPC-620, or JSSTD-10 certifications.
