Description

Perform finishing and post-processing on small plastic prototypes to ensure high detail and accuracy.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Clean, sand, and finish plastic models using sandpaper, files, painting, and dyeing techniques.
• Handle and process prototypes while strictly following safety procedures and wearing proper PPE.
• Identify defects or quality issues in models and alert responsible team members immediately.
• Explore and implement new post-processing techniques to improve prototyping capabilities.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience with model finishing, machining activities, or equivalent technical education.
• Proficiency with CAD software.
• Experience with 3D printing technologies including SLA, DLS, DLP, PolyJet, or FFF.
• Strong manual dexterity for detailed handwork and arts and crafts-style tasks.
• Clear verbal and written communication skills for team collaboration.
• High attention to detail regarding fine part accuracy.
• Ability to lift at least 40 lbs.
• High school diploma.
