Description

You will provide technical support for the Operations Test Group, focusing on the assembly, integration, and testing of space hardware assemblies.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Execute strict spaceflight test procedures, document results, and manage electronic test data.
• Perform mid to high complexity testing on electrical sub-assemblies, optical assemblies, and cables at the sub-system and payload levels.
• Support clean room maintenance, equipment performance verifications, and the movement of flight hardware.
• Train test technicians on safe and proper testing protocols.
• Contribute to process development, continuous improvement, and problem resolution.

Required Skills

• Minimum of 6 years of relevant experience, or 2 years with a post-secondary/Associate degree.
• Experience with electrical and/or mechanical assemblies.
• Proficiency using DVM, oscilloscope, DSA, and Power Supplies.
• Knowledge of ESD safeguards.
• Ability to work in confined spaces or clean room environments for extended periods.
• Ability to travel up to 50% for customer product testing and integration.
• Flexibility to work non-standard shifts, holidays, weekends, and overtime as required.
• Capability to transport equipment to and from storage facilities and customer sites.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with specialized hand tools including torque wrenches, micrometers, and calipers.
• Experience working with contamination control and in clean room environments.
• PIT certification.
