Description

You will maintain and troubleshoot manufacturing and facilities equipment to ensure operational standards.

Responsibilities

• Perform mechanical and electrical maintenance and troubleshooting on all manufacturing and facilities equipment.
• Supervise equipment upgrades and modifications to maintain functional and aesthetic standards.
• Manage small-scale equipment and facility projects, including contractor supervision for electrical and plumbing work.
• Execute equipment startup, supports, calibration, and Job Safety Analysis (JSA).
• Lead FMΕAs for equipment upgrades or obsolescence and utilize Root Cause Analysis for problem-solving.
• Train and mentor maintenance technicians in troubleshooting techniques.

Required Skills

• 3 to 5 years of experience in mechanical, electrical, or chemical engineering disciplines, or a Bachelor's degree in mechanical or chemical engineering.
• Technical knowledge of mechanical and electrical equipment and processes.
• Knowledge of engineering principles and common commercial components.
• Working knowledge of engineering standards, safety codes, and facility infrastructure such as boilers and compressors.
• Experience with PLC systems.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD.
• Ability to perform Job Safety Analysis (JSA).
• Working knowledge of MS Office including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

Preferred Skills

• Lean manufacturing experience.
