Engineering Technician

About the job
* This position will support the Manufacturing Engineering team with NX CAD design and engineering administrative work. Support is required for maintaining/improving current daily production and for several important projects to implement new products and/or significant improvement projects in the factory. This position is required onsite in the factory every day.

Job Functions:
• Design new and model existing equipment using Siemens NX CAD
• Develop and maintain manufacturing Bills of Materials (BOMs) and routings in SAP
• Support our Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) program with set up and supply of spare parts
• Purchase and track materials for capital investment programs
• Create and modify detailed work instructions for manufacturing and support processes
• Complete root cause problem solving using proven tools and methods *

Qualifications:
• College degree in Engineering (Manufacturing, Mechatronics, Mechanical)
• Have a passion for manufacturing engineering
• Be self-directed and comfortable in a team environment focused on results.
• Experienced with NX, SAP, and Teamcenter tools
• Excellent organizational and computer skills
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Excellent interpersonal skills
