Description

Install, calibrate, and repair semiconductor process equipment to minimize downtime in a cleanroom environment.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Install, repair, and calibrate semiconductor process machinery.
• Monitor equipment performance and inspect for defects to prevent malfunctions.
• Maintain accurate documentation of all maintenance activities and generate periodic reports.
• Manage service part inventory to ensure adequate repair stock.
• Train junior technicians and provide basic instruction to customers.

Required Skills

• 0-2 years of electromechanical work experience in field service or semiconductor equipment.
• Ability to work in a cleanroom environment wearing full suits, masks, gloves, and safety glasses.
• Proficiency with MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Capacity to lift up to 30 pounds and perform physical tasks including standing, walking, kneeling, and climbing ladders.
• Visual acuity for inspecting small defects and operating measurement devices.
• Willingness to work flexible shifts and travel up to 30% within the US and occasionally overseas.
• Valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record.
• Ability to work safely around moving mechanical parts, electrical currents, chemicals, and lasers.

Preferred Skills

• Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant technical field.
• 2+ years of tenure in similar engineering technician roles.
