Description

You will support early product development by managing infrastructure and hardware within data centers and engineering labs.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Manage and maintain a Compute Farm consisting of builders, packagers, testers, and core infrastructure.
• Deploy and qualify systems while supporting new technology bring-ups.
• Troubleshoot Linux, Windows, and hardware issues alongside engineering and platform operations teams.
• Plan and maintain on-premises private cloud infrastructure in collaboration with network engineering.
• Create Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and gather critical performance metrics.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in data centers or large engineering labs.
• Bachelor's degree in an Engineering or Technical major.
• Proficiency in scripting and automation using Python, Shell, and Ansible.
• Hands-on experience with Linux, Windows, and Mac operating systems.
• Working knowledge of TCP/IP, DNS, NFS, and SSL protocols.
• Experience with PCBs, GPUs, and system deployments.
• Familiarity with SCMs such as Git or Perforce.
• Experience with Jenkins.

Preferred Skills

• Experience managing HPC clusters using Slurm.
• Hands-on knowledge of OpenStack and hypervisors.
• Knowledge of liquid cooling and dense datacenter design.
