Description

Support the build and maintenance of custom hardware subsystems and test platforms for software simulation and Hardware-in-the-Loop testing.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair test hardware and equipment.
• Build cable harnesses based on technical diagrams and drawings.
• Assemble custom hardware and integrate network and vehicle system components into server racks.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams for parts receiving, installs, upgrades, and decommissioning.
• Create and track tickets to document hardware incidents, changes, and completed work.

Required Skills

• Proficiency with tools for building and repairing automotive harnesses.
• Experience using Digital Multimeters (DMMs) for voltage checks, continuity, shorts, and opens.
• Experience building, troubleshooting, and diagnosing computers using off-the-shelf components.
• Ability to lift 25-30 pound boxes and move equipment weighing up to 50 pounds.
• Physical ability to crawl, bend, and climb ladders up to 8 feet.
• Strong organizational and documentation skills.
• Any Graduate degree.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Linux-based systems and running scripts.
• Automotive diagnostic experience with CAN analyzers and scan tools.
• Proficiency with Jira, Confluence, and Microsoft Office.
