Description

You will support the design, assembly, and testing of prototype electromechanical systems and specialized test equipment.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Assemble prototype electromechanical systems, experimental circuitry, and laser or light transmission devices.
• Perform operational testing, fault isolation, and troubleshooting on systems and equipment.
• Build power top parts with minimal supervision from the engineering team.
• Follow schematics, diagrams, and written layouts to execute testing and checkout functions.
• Assist in determining methods to remedy equipment malfunctions and aid in the construction of test apparatus.

Required Skills

• 1-3 years of experience as an assembly technician.
• Hands-on experience with the fabrication and assembly of electronic circuits or photonic systems.
• Ability to work with schematics, diagrams, and defined technical plans.
• Experience using oscilloscopes, signal generators, and diagnostic test programs.
• Competency in documenting work correctly within a regulated environment.
• Strong ability to follow strict technical documentation and procedures.
• Degree in any field.

Preferred Skills

• Prior experience working within a medical device environment.
