Description

You will develop and maintain RESTful Service APIs within a DevOps team supporting the Tennessee Department of Human Resources.

This role is hybrid.

Responsibilities

• Develop RESTful Service APIs as the primary technical deliverable.
• Maintain technical documentation in Jira and Confluence.
• Collaborate with developers, testers, business analysts, and scrum masters in an Agile environment.
• Communicate security and risk concepts to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Manage multiple projects under strict timelines to meet delivery objectives.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in software development.
• Proficiency in Java and RDBMS.
• Hands-on experience with Maven, Jenkins, or Tekton.
• Experience with Red Hat, Red Hat OpenShift, and 3Scale.
• Strong understanding of CI/CD pipelines and Kubernetes.
• Expertise in JBoss and Bitbucket (Git).
• Solid grasp of RESTful Service APIs and service-oriented environments.
• Experience working within Agile frameworks and software development lifecycles.

Preferred Skills

• Experience using Confluence for team documentation.
