Description

Lead the architecture and design of enterprise application integration across distributed and legacy environments.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Design API-led microservices architectures and establish service lifecycle governance.
• Lead major technical implementations from architectural design through deployment.
• Integrate COTS packaged applications with custom distributed systems.
• Document technical designs and present architectural strategies to executive leadership.
• Model business processes and develop detailed use cases for integration workflows.

Required Skills

• 8+ years of hands-on experience in enterprise application integration architecture.
• Proven track record of completing at least 5 major implementations at the architect level.
• Proficiency in NodeJS, TypeScript, Python, and Bash.
• Hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform, including Firestore, Cloud Functions, and Cloud Tasks.
• Experience with Docker, YAML, and Git.
• Practical knowledge of API Gateways such as Gloo or Google API Gateway.
• Deep understanding of REST, JSON, JMS, HTTP/HTTPS, and SOAP.
• Expertise in GitLab CI/CD pipelines.
• Experience with messaging technologies including MQ, EMS, JMS, or Confluent Kafka.
• Required experience in performance testing and tuning.

Preferred Skills

• Active contribution to open-source projects.
• Relational database development, data modeling, and SQL expertise.
• Experience with Oracle ERP, eCommerce, or Content Management Systems.
