Description

You will lead enterprise architecture governance, design, and compliance for a new manufacturing facility's application ecosystem.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Lead EA governance to ensure all project solutions align with architecture principles and regulatory standards.
• Design deployment architectures supporting high availability, disaster recovery, and minimal operational downtime.
• Optimize system integration and data flows across complex manufacturing ecosystems using middleware.
• Oversee the integration of ERP, MES, SCADA, WMS, and PLM systems.
• Apply cybersecurity frameworks to ensure data integrity and system security for manufacturing applications.

Required Skills

• 15+ years of IT experience with 10+ years as an Enterprise Architect in manufacturing environments.
• Expertise with ERP, MES, SCADA, WMS, and PLM applications.
• Proficiency in EA frameworks including TOGAF and Zachman.
• Hands-on experience with Mulesoft or similar middleware for system integration.
• Experience with Azure for hybrid cloud deployments.
• Advanced networking knowledge including CPwE, SCADA architectures, and IoT frameworks.
• Knowledge of industrial protocols such as Modbus, OPC UA, and Ethernet/IP.
• Familiarity with manufacturing standards including ISO 9001, ISA-95, and ISO 27001.
• Understanding of Industry 4.0, IoT, and Smart Manufacturing technologies.

Preferred Skills

• Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles and process optimization.
• Deep understanding of manufacturing KPIs including MTTR, system uptime, and production downtime.
