Description

You will define and lead the end-to-end target architecture for migrating from TIBCO middleware to AWS cloud-native solutions.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Define end-to-end target architecture covering integration patterns, application modernization, data architecture, and platform infrastructure.
• Establish architecture principles, standards, and guardrails for cloud-native development.
• Design wave-based migration strategies and ensure co-existence between TIBCO and AWS during transition.
• Develop cutover strategies including dual-run, zero-downtime migration, and rollback mechanisms.
• Mitigate risks related to migration complexity, dependency management, and performance bottlenecks.

Required Skills

• 15+ years of experience in large-scale modernization and integration platform programs.
• Proven track record migrating from TIBCO ESB to AWS cloud-native architecture.
• Deep expertise in AWS services: Lambda, SQS, Event Bridge, SNS, Step Functions, EKS, S3.
• Strong knowledge of integration patterns: API-led, event-driven, batch, file-based, and orchestration.
• Experience with data architecture for both transactional and analytical workloads.
• Ability to design for high throughput, low latency, horizontal scalability, and fault tolerance.
• Skills in defining contingency plans for rollbacks and failure scenarios.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with zero-downtime migration techniques and shadowing approaches.
• Background in defining production readiness criteria across multiple migration waves.
