Description

You will lead the analysis and development of advanced traffic systems to support the TxDOT Traffic Technology program.

This role is hybrid.

Responsibilities

• Lead planning, designing, and integrating traffic control technology systems.
• Design, install, and monitor traffic technology hardware and software.
• Analyze existing systems to evaluate potential enhancements.
• Develop policies, procedures, and budget recommendations.

Required Skills

• 8+ years of experience in project development for engineering projects, systems, or IT applications.
• Bachelor's degree from an accredited university in engineering, information systems, computer science, or data processing.
• Experience managing complex technical systems and project lifecycles.
• Ability to lead technical teams and cross-functional project groups.

Preferred Skills

• 4+ years of experience with traffic applications, signals, and hardware.
• 4+ years of public sector experience (Federal, State, or Local Government).
