Description

You will lead the migration of on-premises workloads to AWS while maintaining existing on-premises infrastructure.

This role is hybrid.

Responsibilities

• Lead the assessment, planning, and execution of migration strategies including rehost, re-platform, refactor, and repurchase.
• Design, architect, and implement cloud solutions using EC2, ECS, EKS, Lambda, S3, and RDS.
• Manage cloud infrastructure through provisioning, scaling, monitoring, and security risk mitigation.
• Troubleshoot complex technical issues across both cloud and on-premises servers, networks, and applications.
• Collaborate with development teams to ensure successful deployment and operation of cloud-based applications.

Required Skills

• 7+ years of experience as an AWS Cloud Engineer.
• Deep understanding of AWS compute, storage, networking, and security services.
• 4+ years of experience with Python, Bash, or PowerShell scripting.
• 4+ years of experience with Linux and Windows operating system principles.
• 4+ years of experience with containerization technologies including Docker and Kubernetes.
• 4+ years of experience with AWS certifications such as Solutions Architect or DevOps Engineer.
• 4+ years of experience with infrastructure-as-code tools like Terraform or CloudFormation.
• 2+ years of experience with CI/CD pipelines and automation tools.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with security compliance frameworks such as SOC 2 or ISO 27001.
• Experience with on-premises virtualization technologies like VMware.
