Description

You will define and implement architecture hands-on during a Legacy App Modernization project.

Responsibilities

• Define architecture and implement solutions for modernizing legacy applications (VB, Oracle Forms, Power Builder, Old Java Monoliths).
• Manage iterative go-lives, running legacy and new applications in parallel.
• Finalize technology stacks and tools by evaluating options, pros, and cons with customers.
• Implement cloud-native Java applications on the Azure Platform.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in hands-on architecture definition and implementation.
• Expertise in Java and J2EE, including modern frameworks.
• Proven experience with microservices architecture.
• Hands-on experience with containerisation using Docker and Kubernetes.
• Experience with messaging systems, specifically Kafka and Azure Event Bus.
• Working experience with Azure Platform services.
• Familiarity with DevSecOps tools and Github.
• Experience utilizing BRE Tools and Cloud Readiness Tools.
