Define system architecture and drive technical strategy across the enterprise.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Participate in hands-on design sessions, creating detailed system architecture diagrams, and defining technical specifications for new applications and systems.
• Conduct thorough technical evaluations of new technologies and frameworks to identify solutions that fit organizational needs.
• Provide recommendations on technology adoption and roadmap development.
• Apply advanced knowledge of application systems design and integration to solve complex problems.
• Perform code reviews and analyze test results for application quality.

Required Skills

• 7-10+ years of experience across multiple IT areas, including 2-3 years in tolling, ITS, or transit architecture.
• Expert knowledge of architecture, applications systems design, and integration.
• Proficiency in Oracle PL/SQL development, including packages, cursors, triggers, and collections.
• Strong understanding of SQL query writing and performance tuning.
• Experience with database concepts: data modeling, normalization, and optimization techniques.
• Familiarity with database administration tasks such as backup, recovery, user management, and security.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities to resolve system issues.
• Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively in a team setting.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Oracle.
