Description

You will act as a hands-on Solution Enterprise Architect, owning the design, build, and scaling of equipment rental mobile applications across the full stack.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Discovery phase to evaluate current applications, tools, and infrastructure.
• Define the target Mobile One architecture, including backend design and a phased roadmap for app convergence.
• Guide UI/UX direction from an architectural perspective and ensure CI/CD, security, and AirWatch compliance.
• Support teams during the transition from Discovery to delivery.
• Design and implement solutions for high-volume, real-time data processing and system modernization.

Required Skills

• 15+ years of experience in architecture or senior engineering roles.
• Expertise in Java and J2EE, with strong proficiency in Spring / Spring Boot.
• Deep understanding of enterprise architecture, microservices, and event-driven systems.
• Hands-on experience with AWS services including EC2, Lambda, API Gateway, S3, VPC, and IAM.
• Proficiency with relational databases, specifically PostgreSQL, including SQL, Stored Procedures, and Query Optimization.
• Familiarity with distributed caching (Redis) and real-time streaming using AWS Kinesis.
• Experience with CI/CD and DevOps fundamentals within a cloud environment.
• Knowledge of API-first design principles and backend architecture using Spring.
• Ability to assess legacy systems and plan modernization strategies toward the cloud.
