Description

Own the end-to-end architecture strategy for Assure Smart Apps and the broader insurance platform, defining target-state designs for scalability, security, and resilience.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Define target-state architectures across user experience, workflow automation, orchestration, and core insurance systems.
• Establish architectural standards and reusable patterns that enable modular, loosely coupled solutions.
• Translate business requirements into scalable technical architectures and lead governance forums for key technology decisions.
• Architect secure, event-driven integration patterns for policy, billing, claims, and customer platforms.
• Mentor architects and engineers while promoting platform thinking and engineering discipline.

Required Skills

• 10+ years in software engineering, solution architecture, or enterprise architecture.
• Deep hands-on ServiceNow expertise: Scoped Applications, Flow Designer, Integration Hub, UI Builder, CMDB, and Service Catalog.
• Experience with Automated Test Framework (ATF) and ServiceNow governance/operating models.
• Strong background in cloud-native, API-first, and event-driven architectures.
• Proven ability to design and govern enterprise-scale SaaS and multi-tenant platform solutions.
• Expertise in microservices, distributed systems, REST/GraphQL APIs, and enterprise integrations.
• Experience with multi-instance environments, upgrade/release management, and DevSecOps practices.
• Ability to communicate complex technical concepts to both technical and executive audiences.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with ServiceNow ITSM, ITOM, and CAD.
• Background in insurance technology platforms and digital transformation initiatives.
