Description

You will define the department’s technology vision, draft enterprise IT policies, and coordinate the full technology strategy lifecycle.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Assess current technology capabilities and challenges to define strategic objectives aligned with statutory mandates.
• Draft, maintain, and update the Technology Strategy and Roadmap.
• Develop IT policies, standards, and guidelines, managing the lifecycle from drafting through approval.
• Organize and facilitate technology strategy working groups, tracking agendas, minutes, and action items.
• Prepare weekly CIO status reports, executive briefing decks, and monitoring dashboards.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of progressively responsible IT experience in enterprise architecture, technology strategy, or IT governance.
• Deep knowledge of IT governance frameworks such as NIST, COBIT, ITIL, or TOGAF.
• Proven experience developing enterprise-wide technology strategies or policies in large organizations.
• Familiarity with Florida IT statutes and administrative codes.
• Proficiency with Microsoft 365 (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Teams, SharePoint) and collaboration tools like Smartsheet or Confluence.
• Experience preparing executive-level documents, policies, and strategies.
• Ability to coordinate with executive leadership and cross-functional teams.
• Strict adherence to data security and confidentiality procedures.
