Description

You will lead the definition of best practices, standards, and process improvements for technical infrastructure, application design, coding, and security.

Responsibilities

• Define and enforce application security, code standards, deployment processes, and database design patterns.
• Review and document current application architectures to set future goals for enterprise application architecture.
• Lead all phases of the software development life cycle (SDLC) to improve product value and quality.
• Consult with development technical leads, state agencies, and vendors to implement architectural standards.
• Evaluate and recommend programming languages, design tools, application frameworks, and applications.

Required Skills

• 9+ years of experience in requirements gathering, analysis, and documenting requirements.
• 9+ years of experience with ASP.Net, .NET (MS), and ASP.Net MVC.
• 9+ years of experience with SQL and SQL Client Tools.
• 9+ years of experience in mobile development and system development life cycle (SDLC) deliverables.
• 9+ years of experience in technical writing, documentation, and project management.
• 9+ years of experience with user, system, and user acceptance test (UAT) planning.
• 5 years of experience with JavaScript.
• 4 years of experience with GitHub Enterprise.
• Proficiency in Visual Basic, VB.Net, Visual Studio/Interdev, Web Services, Stored Procedures, and HTML.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Web applications architecture including IIS, COM+, DB2 Connect, and Okta.
• Experience with multi-layered object-oriented design and large complex web applications.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Python and Java.
