You will define and drive the technical vision for large-scale, secure systems.

This role is hybrid.

Responsibilities

• Design architectures that comply with regulatory frameworks (OCC, FFIEC, SOX, GLBA) from initial design.
• Translate control frameworks into actionable engineering guidance for development teams.
• Conduct threat modeling and architectural risk analysis across enterprise systems.
• Partner with senior executives across technology, security, and risk functions to influence technical direction.
• Deliver resilient, secure systems capable of operating at scale with low manual intervention.

Required Skills

• 15+ years of deep, hands-on engineering experience across application development, infrastructure, cloud, cybersecurity, and data.
• Proven leadership experience as a Distinguished, Principal, Staff Engineer, or Fellow in a large financial institution.
• Expert level coding ability in Python, C#, or Golang.
• Expert level abilities within AWS, Azure, and GCP.
• Extensive experience applying regulatory frameworks (OCC, FFIEC, SOX, GLBA).
• Familiarity with NIST, MITRE ATT&CK, COBIT, TOGAF, and SABSA.
• Undergraduate Degree in Computer Science or Engineering.

Preferred Skills

• Experience in a bank or regulated financial services environment with over $100B in assets.
• Strong presentation skills, capable of distilling technical complexity for C-suite stakeholders.
