Description

Define enterprise-grade application architecture and provide strategic technical guidance to senior stakeholders for product and platform roadmaps. You will own high-level design artifacts across the full SDLC, lead requirements elicitation, and translate complex technical concepts for non-technical audiences.

Responsibilities

• Architect distributed systems using microservices, cloud-native services, and distributed computing patterns.
• Deliver high-quality code for specific modules and lead validation for all testing and implementation phases.
• Support implementation, transition, and warranty activities for large-scale integrations.
• Define application architecture and create comprehensive design artifacts across the full SDLC.
• Lead requirements elicitation and bridge communication between technical teams and business stakeholders.

Required Skills

• 13+ years of Information Technology experience, including 10+ years in architecture covering Applications, APIs, Microservices, and Systems Integration.
• Proficiency with APIs, Microservices, and Java.
• Hands-on experience with Cloud platforms, specifically Azure and GCP.
• Deep understanding of data architectures including OLTP/OLAP, SQL, and NoSQL.
• Experience working within Agile methodologies such as Scrum, Scrumban, or Kanban.
• Practical knowledge of version control using GitHub.

Preferred Skills

• Experience strategizing solutions within Railroad, Logistics, or service integration firms.
• Expertise in Legacy Systems Modernization involving Mainframe, SAP, or Java.
