Description

You will serve as the Technical Lead for an established development team, providing oversight and guidance throughout the entire project lifecycle.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Lead the development team by providing technical direction and consultation from project inception through final deliverable acceptance.
• Collaborate with the project manager to ensure compliance with agency and Commonwealth project management policies, standards, and governance.
• Review and validate all project deliverables for accuracy, completeness, and adherence to requirements.
• Monitor project progress, manage risks, and provide status updates and corrective actions to Agency leadership.
• Act as a technical liaison between Agency leadership and VITA, assisting with reporting for project oversight committees.

Required Skills

• 3+ years of professional experience in technical leadership or architecture roles.
• C# and .NET development.
• Python programming.
• JavaScript.
• Azure Cloud Services, including Azure App Services and Azure Functions.
• Azure DevOps.
• Azure Storage.
• Experience managing project scope, schedules, and technical estimates.

Preferred Skills

• Experience working within Commonwealth project governance frameworks.
