Enterprise Architect

Lead the technical implementation of the Fiscal Agent Services module within the Medicaid Enterprise System (MES).

Responsibilities

• Oversee technical implementation and ensure alignment with CMS guidelines, MITA maturity goals, and federal modularity requirements.
• Conduct architectural reviews, assess solution implementation, and validate compliance with enterprise architecture policies.
• Evaluate integration needs across Eligibility, Provider Services, Pharmacy, and Data Warehousing modules.
• Develop logical and physical diagrams, data flow documentation, and technical roadmaps for system interfaces and APIs.
• Collaborate with cybersecurity teams to enforce NIST, HIPAA, and state security policies.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of experience in enterprise architecture and large-scale IT system design.
• Proficiency in architectural modeling, data management concepts, and security best practices.
• Strong experience with cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, or equivalent) and cloud adoption strategies.
• Deep understanding of MITA framework and federal interoperability requirements.
• Experience designing healthcare or government IT systems, preferably Medicaid or MES modules.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
• Proven track record collaborating with vendors, system integrators, and multidisciplinary teams.

Preferred Skills

• Technical knowledge of Node.js, Java, Angular, React, Python, REST, JSON, XML, X12, and FHIR.
• Prior work with Medicaid Management Information Systems (MMIS) or Medicaid Enterprise Systems (MES).
• Relevant certifications such as AWS/Azure Architect.
