Description

You will design and maintain the architecture roadmap for ecommerce and retail technology platforms.

Responsibilities

• Design scalable architectures for ecommerce websites, mobile apps, and in-store retail systems.
• Evaluate and recommend technologies to enhance digital commerce capabilities across web, mobile, and physical channels.
• Translate business stakeholder requirements into technical solutions.
• Lead architecture governance to align technology initiatives with business strategy.
• Provide technical leadership and mentoring to development teams.

Required Skills

• 7+ years of experience as an Enterprise Architect focusing on ecommerce and retail technologies.
• Deep knowledge of ecommerce platforms such as Shopify, Salesforce Commerce Cloud, or Oracle ATG.
• Experience with microservices architectures, cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP), and DevOps practices.
• Strong understanding of retail systems including POS, order management, inventory, and CRM.
• Proficiency in Java, JavaScript, web services, and APIs.
• Experience with SQL and NoSQL databases.
• Knowledge of web and mobile technologies, frameworks, and security, performance, and scalability best practices.
• Working knowledge of Agile and DevOps methodologies.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.

Preferred Skills

• Master's degree.
• Shopify experience.
• TOGAF or other enterprise architecture certification.
