You will drive the technical roadmap for data modernization and architect scalable, secure data systems for public health surveillance.

Responsibilities

• Develop a technical roadmap for data modernization that aligns with organizational vision and priorities.
• Architect scalable and secure data systems to support public health surveillance demands.
• Design solutions to enhance data collection, analysis, and dissemination for decision-making.
• Provide technical guidance to ensure effective use of modern data technologies.
• Analyze, design, and implement enterprise architecture structural frameworks to align IT strategy with business objectives.
• Conduct impact analysis studies regarding cloud infrastructure and cloud networking design.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in technical roles such as software developer, systems analyst, or network engineer.
• Proficiency in programming languages, database management, and system design.
• Experience with networking, cloud services, and DevOps practices.
• Knowledge of security protocols and cybersecurity measures to protect sensitive data.
• Experience using modeling and diagramming tools for IT system design.
• Ability to integrate various systems into cohesive enterprise solutions.
• Hands-on experience with IT analytics platforms such as Databricks, Snowflake, Microsoft Azure, AWS, Power BI, or Tableau.
• Proven ability to communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
• Experience in the public or government health industry.

Preferred Skills

• Master’s degree in cloud computing, cybersecurity, or enterprise architecture.
• TOGAF or AWS Certified Solutions Architect certifications.
• Leadership experience in large-scale system architecture projects.
