Description

You will manage and coordinate all technical activities for the CAPPS program, bridging the Technology Operations Team, internal stakeholders, external customers, and contracted vendors.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Ensure all digital products and content meet WCAG 2.1 accessibility standards, including regular compliance reviews and remediation.
• Oversee contract management, IT control audits, data security, user permissions, and technical reviews of templates and workflows.
• Provide technical oversight for SLAs, system monitoring, environment analysis, network troubleshooting, and migration paths.
• Manage and support CAPPS Service Desk (BOSSDesk), including design, configuration, testing, and software administration.
• Review and approve Technical Deliverables related to architecture, SDLC, Disaster Recovery, and Security Plans.

Required Skills

• 20+ years of extensive Texas public sector experience, directly supporting a Texas state government agency.
• 20+ years of experience performing technical activities for CPA application systems.
• 10+ years of experience creating and managing strategic roadmaps with strong planning and cross-functional communication.
• 5+ years of experience in a lead role.
• Proficiency in PeopleSoft FSCM, SQL, and SDL.
• Hands-on experience with Application Designer, PS Query, and SQR.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with PeopleSoft Fluid and PeopleTools upgrades.
• Background in participating as a technical advisor during procurement cycles.
