Description

You define and govern the target-state architecture for enterprise-scale applications on Microsoft Azure, establishing platform boundaries, reference patterns, and architectural guardrails.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Architect cloud-native, event-driven solutions across ingestion, workflow orchestration, and downstream integration.
• Establish reusable patterns for APIs, messaging, data persistence, identity, and observability.
• Drive secure-by-design architecture, including zero-trust principles, private connectivity, and RBAC.
• Define non-functional requirements for scalability, resilience, and production readiness.
• Review solution designs and ensure alignment with enterprise standards and long-term roadmaps.

Required Skills

• 12+ years in software engineering or enterprise architecture.
• Strong experience designing cloud-native solutions on Microsoft Azure.
• Proven expertise in distributed systems, event-driven architecture, and API-first design.
• Deep knowledge of workflow orchestration and microservices-aligned patterns.
• Hands-on familiarity with Azure services: App Services, Functions, Logic Apps, Event Grid, Service Bus, API Management, Blob Storage, Cosmos DB, PostgreSQL, Key Vault, and Entra ID.
• Experience defining architecture for secure and regulated environments.
• Strong understanding of CI/CD, infrastructure as code, and production governance.

Preferred Skills

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline.
