Description

Lead the migration of enterprise reporting and analytics from Tableau to the Databricks Lakehouse Platform.

This role is hybrid.

Responsibilities

• Assess existing Tableau dashboards, data sources, and underlying logic.
• Translate Tableau visualizations, calculations, and data connections into equivalent Databricks SQL or notebooks.
• Rebuild KPIs and data models in Databricks using PySpark, SQL, and Unity Catalog.
• Refactor data pipelines feeding Tableau to transition to Databricks.
• Validate data consistency between Tableau and Databricks dashboards post-migration.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience with Tableau development and dashboarding.
• 3+ years working with Databricks (Delta Lake, Unity Catalog, SQL, Notebooks).
• Proficiency in SQL and Python (PySpark).
• Strong knowledge of ETL/ELT processes and data warehousing concepts.
• Experience migrating BI tools/reports to cloud-based platforms.
• Experience working with large datasets and ensuring data quality and consistency.
• Familiarity with version control, CI/CD, and DevOps practices in data environments.

Preferred Skills

• Exposure to Power BI or Looker.
• Tableau certification and/or Databricks certifications.
