Description

You will design and oversee large-scale cloud architectures and infrastructure strategies for enterprise workloads.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate architectural plans to identify risks and ensure alignment across cross-functional teams.
• Design and implement AWS networking components and cloud-based data stores.
• Oversee the migration of existing workloads to cloud environments using containerization and immutable infrastructure.
• Manage stakeholder relationships to ensure technical goals meet business commitments.
• Lead organizations through major change initiatives and complex technical transitions.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of professional IT experience in Windows Server or Linux environments.
• 5+ years of hands-on experience with AWS services including IAM, EC2, ELB, RDS, S3, Lambda, API Gateway, CloudFront, SNS, SQS, DynamoDB, CloudWatch, and ElastiCache.
• Deep knowledge of AWS datastores including Aurora, NoSQL, Redshift, and DynamoDB.
• Proficiency in UNIX/Linux or Windows Server scripting using Bash, Shell, or Python.
• Experience with Microservices, containerization, and immutable infrastructure.
• Demonstrated knowledge of SaaS, infrastructure, and cloud computing architectures.
• Understanding of data security, compliance controls, and advanced automation including bots and AI.
• Active AWS Certified Solutions Architect certification (Professional preferred).
• Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, IT, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.

Preferred Skills

• TOGAF certification (Professional preferred).
• Experience collaborating with State and Local Government entities.
• Proven track record in complex, cross-functional team environments.
